Thanksgiving in Hurricane

We did something a little different this Thanksgiving. We decided to go where the temperature was a bit more pleasant. So Dee Dee and I headed down to Hurricane the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and got everthing ready for the big day. Debbie, Lynn, Elise, and Jacob arrived Tuesday night and David and Jenna and Cyrena and Natalie followed on Wedneday - arriving late due to their car being hit by a styrofoam fist (that is a whole other story!!). Anyway, we had a great time there. Great food and leftovers. We took the girls and Jacob fishing to Grandpa's fishing pond 5 minutes from the house. No fish were biting, but we had some fun adventures anyway skipping rocks, looking at the ducks, and slipping in the mud. Jacob got the idea to crash rocks into some puddles that had crusted over with ice. And Cyrens bonked her head on a boulder. Lynn and Debbie headed back on Saturday and David and I played some golf at Sky Mountain golf course by the house. A bit chilly, but very enjoyable. While we were gone, temperature lows reached -2 in Alpine.
